Scope: Remove a 50-foot-tall road embankment and build a new 150-foot-long post-tensioned bridge over Green Cove Creek.
The bridge will replace a 5-foot-wide culvert that partially collapsed.
Site development work included roadway excavation, channel excavation, streambed restoration, and temporary bypass.
Project Milestones:
- Clearing and grading of almost 1 acre of land
- Export of over 20,000 cubic yards of spoils
- Installation of Streambed including streambed cobbles, boulders, riprap, and logs
- Installation of over 500ft of temporary waterline and gate valve
- Installation of erosion controls including straw wattles, and quarry spalls
